Hi there, I'm a maker from Sew and Grow, where we have been making products using natural resources these are dyes extracted from plants and minerals.
Here are some of the dyes we have been using; coffee, red onion, nettles, tea, rhubarb leaves and black beans.
All our products are made with natural colors, we are inspired by the seasons and the colors in nature, the reason for us using natural dyes is because it is less dangerous for the environment, people and animals.
We also have been experimenting with Hapa Zome. This is where we get a variety of foraged leaves and petals which are then hammered in between to pieces of material resulting in colorful, abstract art works.
